To succeed in this role, we believe you might have a university degree in logistics, economics, or business administration or 3 to 5 years of experience and proven performance and skills in the area(s) of logistics, commercial, supply chain, or network design. You can make a difference by positively influencing the business directly and through collaboration. You have knowledge and experience from interacting with various business partners, especially in matrix relationships. You have analytical, organizational, and change management skills. You can consistently promote projects and assignments on the country/market/national level and have excellent presentation skills. You possess good coaching or mentor skills, advisory and facilitation skills, conflict management skills, and problem-solving experience. You also have experience working with and reviewing business cases and scenario analysis related to complex and capital-intensive investments, projects, and initiatives that have a considerable impact on the company.
You have knowledge and experience in some or all of the following areas:
• IKEA business model, the strategic landscape, and IKEA ways of working
• IKEA Retail/store environment, fulfilment network design, flow and capacity planning, fulfilment operations, and service business leading to an excellent customer fulfilment
• Comprehensive understanding of the customer and co-worker needs, demands, and expectations on the markets
• Stakeholder management
• Financial competence, and knowledge of the IT solution landscape associated with Customer Fulfilment operations, network design, and orchestration are considered a plus
Your responsibilities
The main purpose of this role is to work closely with the country organizations to support and ensure the creation and implementation of the Omnichannel Fulfilment Network (OCN) plans across our countries – ensuring accessibility, affordability, and sustainability. The OCN plans to show how we intend to transform and design our fulfilment network to meet and live up to our customer’s expectations - now and in the future. You will also contribute to the organization's development and the ways of working within group functions and between group functions and country organizations. Doing so in different formats, such as projects and assignments, but always with a customer-centric and collaborative approach.
In more details, you will:
• Be responsible for developing and providing support and guidance to the country organization, securing that each country has an optimal OCN expansion plan and project portfolio, contributing to an inspiring and motivating environment, supporting, and facilitating the country network enabling sharing of best practices and collaboration.
• Actively collaborate with key partners on Group level while representing Omnichannel Network in related forums and decision bodies.
• Be responsible for creating and maintaining a project portfolio structure covering and containing all OCN expansion projects.
• Be responsible for developing and enhancing the ways of working and data requirements, inputs, and outputs related to creating and managing OCN expansion plans across all countries by collaborating with key stakeholders in and outside Customer Fulfilment.
• Supervise the work and act as functional subject matter expert to create and update the CFF-related content in the overall Ingka expansion governance, Investment governance, and related follow-up and reporting to ensure key stakeholders have up-to-date information.
• Secure, together with relevant stakeholders and service partners, adequate resources for the OCN expansion project pipeline across all countries to ensure consistently meeting set goals.
• Ensure each OCN project follows the Ingka expansion process, support, and coach the country with their investment requests for reviews and decision-making
• Contribute with network design subject matter expertise to the creation, documentation, and maintenance of range allocation and accessibility principles
• Proactively work to improve customer experience within your area of influence, basing it on frequent reviews of customer-centric KPIs and customer surveys.
The role is located in Malmö, Hubhult, and you will report to the Strategic Omnichannel Network Manager.
