Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer
What You Will Work On
Develop and maintain the company's Buildkite CI strategy and infrastructure
Scale Buildkite agent environments supporting large engineering organizations
Manage self-hosted CI agents across Linux, macOS, and Windows platforms
Build and improve pipeline templates, plugins, and automation frameworks
Develop infrastructure for provisioning, scaling, and lifecycle management of CI agents
Optimize CI pipelines for large-scale monorepos and complex software environments
Improve developer experience through automation and standardization
Support migration to modern CI capabilities and workflows
Collaborate with engineering teams to create a reliable and scalable CI platform
Drive continuous improvements within development processes and tooling
What You Bring
4+ years of experience building and implementing large-scale software systems
Strong software engineering background
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
Strong knowledge of Linux environments and scripting
Experience working with Java and Python
Experience with Docker and container-based environments
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
Experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, HTTP, and system integration
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
